Brewing, soaking, and dipping, we moved around the greenhouse, yarn in hand. Blue from indigo, ice and a kitchen blender! Madder makes a better red when boiled: ignore the textbooks. The magic of yellow overdyed to make green. Hayboxes to keep the dyes warm - and there's always the usefulness of Susan's old tights. Friendships and groups formed, gardening advice and cuttings aplenty. Huge thanks to Susan and Ashley for such an informative and enjoyable week for all from the class of August 2021.
