Crude oil futures sold off in late trading on Thursday after spending much of the day in positive territory. They closed roughly 1 lower in light holiday volumes. In the absence of clear price drivers the marked chewed over over old themes, including the impact of China's Covid-19 policies and the EU's twin bans on imports of Russian oil.
