The International Cheese Technology Symposium - Cheese World 2006 - brought milk processors up-to-date on the latest developments in cheese technology and science. It also offered networking opportunities for cheese industry and science professionalsfrom Europe, the US, South America and Australia. Barbara Meurer-Grimes, the director of the Australian Cheese Technology Program (ACTP), reports on her experience at this year's Symposium in Munich, Germany, in May. Over nine sessions, the conference provided an overview of new developments in all areas relevant to cheese manufacture.
