A new species of Ectopsocus (Psocodea: Psocomorpha: Ectopsocidae), from the Baja California Peninsula and Oaxaca, Mexico

The 19 species of Ectopsocus that have been recorded in Mexico (García Aldrete, 1991), are found in mainland Mexico and in the Tres Marías Archipelago, none has been recorded previously in the Baja California Peninsula. Here we describe a new species of Ectopsocus, that was collected in one locality at the southern end of the Baja California Peninsula, and at two localities on the Pacific slope in Oaxaca.
