Australia is one of the more than 190 nations taking part in the international showcase, making Shanghai's Expo the largest event of its type in the world this year, and biggest World Expo in history. "Australia has led the way among international participants in reaching construction milestones since work began on the site 15 months ago," said Australian Commissioner-General Lyndall Sachs.
