Formworkers find a New Way to Seal Formwork Tie Holes

In water retaining structures like reservoirs, water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants and pump stations, usually require formwork for the placement of concrete for these types of structures and the formwork requires form ties. Formwork ties are used to secure formwork. During concrete placement and initial hydration and basically stop the lateral pressure of concrete collapsing the forms. Once the formwork is stripped these formwork penetrations or form tie voids need to be filled with an epoxy based, non-shrink grout. This process is not only expensive but also very labour intensive.
