Low Stress Vet Visits for Dogs (and Humans)

We tend to assume that veterinary practices are already dog friendly, But, are they?Across studies, 53-78% of dogs exhibit behaviours associated with fear and stress in the waiting room and during examination. Doring et al, 2009 observed that fewer than half of the dogs entered the veterinary waiting room calmly, and 13% needed to be dragged or carried in, such was their reluctance.
