One of the disadvantages of polyester is its low hygroscopicity. For this reason, static electricity occurs easily. On the other hand, this disadvantage is also related to the features that it doesn't shrink, dries fast and needs no ironing after washing, and that high-performance moisture-absorbing fibers can be produced easily.
