Mermaid Textile Industry Indonesia (Mertex), a textile manufacturer belonging .to the Shikibo Group, is vigorously moving to cater to Indonesia's domestic demand, as well as placing an emphasis on fabric developments with tie-ups with Shikibo and factories in Japan. The Indonesian company intends to develop the ASEAN market.
