Following on from last year's successful virtual launch of their upgraded G-Series Evolution wheel loader range, CASE Construction Equipment held yet another digital press conference (3 March 2022) to announce the launch of their new seven-model, high-specification E-Series range of crawler excavators.Building on the company's legacy of earthmoving innovation spanning 180 years, the latest E-Series excavators (ranging from 13 to 30 tonnes) have been specially designed to help mobile plant owners/operators become more efficient, productive, and environmentally friendly. The latest excavator models - the CX130E, CX160E, CX180E, CX210E, CX240E, CX250E and CX300E - are all said to provide greater controllability, increased operating efficiency, and improved operator comfort and visibility, with proven productivity, fuel economy and reduced total cost of ownership. Some of the market-leading features of the machines include: new Stage V engines developed by FPT International; an enhanced cab design; improved hydraulic controls/ settings; and accessibility to a full range of CASE Service Solutions.'Our customers are facing increasing challenges, which is intensifying competition. So, they look to CASE to develop machines that have the highest levels of uptime, efficiency, and productivity,' commented Egidio Galano, director of construction equipment product management Europe at CNH Industrial. 'In response, we developed the E-Series, delivering excellence, efficiency and economy.'According to CASE, the all-new E-Series models are among the most productive, competitive, and efficient excavators in the market, thanks to the CASE Intelligent Hydraulic System (CIHS), new work modes, advanced telematics, an optimized cab control layout and latest fuel-efficient engines.CASE have continued their longstanding partnership with FPT International, who are renowned for their high-quality powertrain designs. All the E-Series excavator models, for example, feature more powerful and efficient Stage V emissions-compliant FPT engines. The 13- to 18-tonne machines feature N45, the 4.5-litre engine from the renowned NEF series, whilst the N67 from the same engine family powers the 21- to 30-tonne E-Series models with a 6.7-litre displacement.
