Global Fiber Production

摘要

The global fiber production (estimate) in 2005 was 60.5 million tons,up 1.4% from the preceding year,recording a dip for the first time in three years.Man-made fiber production rose 0.8% and cotton fell 3.5%.Fiber production fell as a whole.The decline in 2005 is partly a reactionary fall after a substantial rise of 16% resulting from a massive production rise in the preceding year.
