Saurer Acquires TEMCO

At the end of 2005,Saurer signed a contract to acquire the textile machinery components producer TEMCO of Germany.TEMCO is a producer of texturing units,friction discs,online monitoring systems,interlacing air jets and technologically leading special bearings.With TEMCO,Saurer acquires an established brand for advanced and innovative machinery components for synthetic yarn manufacturing.Saurer thus considerably extends its own spinning components business,which so far comprised TEXParts (mainly focused on cotton spinning).
