Japan Exlan Co.,Ltd.has developed photo-catalytic spun acrylic yarn.The company plans to produce 300 tons in fiscal 2006 and 1,000 tons in fiscal 2008.It has filed applications for five patents.Main uses are fashion apparel,sportswear,uniforms,bedding linen and carpets.With a 30-40% blend of this yarn,they can exhibit deodorizing,antibacterial and stain-resistant functions.
