The C-mine master plan preserves the generosity of the current open landscape and proposes a series of principles for enrichment, experimentation, and flexible future growth. It concentrates hard activities on the edges and places more porous activities in the center, while soft interventions that act as "markers" articulate intersecting paths. In proximity to the existing row houses, the new C-mine Atelier building complex is positioned on either side of one of the public roads that crosses the site. The atelier hosts workshops and exhibitions and includes residences for artists. It consists of 2 main buildings, the kunsthalle and the workshop, and 2 defined outdoor spaces with annexes, a public square and an enclosed garden.
