Apr. Cotton Yarn Exports Rise to 48,100 Tons

China exported 48,100 tons of cotton year in April this year, up 20.02% compared ot the same month of 2002 and up 3.02% from the previous month. Of this, 1,000 tons involved the processing of investors' raw materials, down 35.37% compared to the year before; and 19,100 tons the processing of imported cotton, up 59.59%.
