摘要

New materials for X-ray tube cathodes and anodes are considered. Monocrystal and nanocrystal materials provide improved medical X-ray tube performance by increasing mechanical and emission strength of the cathode and focal track of the anode.It has been demonstrated in the literature [1-7] that monocrystal [1-3] and nanocrystal materials [4] of elec-trovacuum cathodes and anodes are superior to polycrys-talline materials.Cermet X-ray tubes exhibit the advantages of these materials (Fig. 1).
