China's 2003 Textile Machinery Trade

Statistics released from the Chinese General Administration of Customs indicate that the total export-import value of textile machinery hit USUS5,181 million in 2003:imports,USUS4,638 million (up 25.31% compared to 2002) and exports,USUS543 million (up 44.50%).Regarding the patterns of imports,the import value of general trade rose by 34.5% to USUS2,708 million,accounting for 58.38% of total imports,while foreign tradesmen's investments grew by 15.2% to USUS1,751 million.
