Quality Control of Radiation Diagnosis

The 10-year anniversary of Technical Committee 411 of Rospotrebnadzor (apparatuses and equipment for X-ray diagnosis, therapy, and dosimetry) was celebrated in 2009 [1]. During this period of time, TC 411 harmonized and adapted to GOST R more than 60 international IEC and ISO standards for radiation diagnosis [2]. Of these, 30 standards are related to methods and devices for monitoring of exploitation parameters of X-ray apparatuses for radiation diagnosis. The total number of controlled parameters is several thousands. This requires hundreds of test objects and devices. Neither test objects nor monitoring devices can be normalized in the GOST R system.
