摘要

The first half value layer triangle open_(1/2) is a parameter of the X-ray bremsstrahlung quality. The first half value layer is the material thickness providing half-attenuation of exposure dose power (exposure dose) [1, 2]. A typical method for measurement of this parameter is based on dosimetry of radiation exposure dose power and additional filtering, provided that scattered X-ray radiation does not hit the dosimeter working field. The triangle open_(1/2) value is determined dosimetrically from thickness d_t of additional filter made of given material providing radiation transmission coefficient K= 0.5. This thickness d_t is in fact the first half value layer triangle open_(1/2).
