摘要

A method for measurement of the passband of spatial-frequency channels of a visual system is suggested. The spatial-frequency parameters were measured using differential threshold of flicker frequency. The results of experimental tests are considered.Visual system characteristics are tested using gratings with sinusoidal brightness distribution and different spatial frequency. Spatial frequency is the number of periods (cycles) of brightness distribution per degree of the field of vision (cycle/deg). The transition function of the visual system is assessed in tests. Transition function is the dependence of contrast differential threshold of sinusoidal grating on spatial frequency [3, 12]. A passband spatial-frequency filter represents the visual system model. One of the passband spatial-frequency filter parameters is frequency band.
