摘要

After harmonizing the corresponding international standard and introduction of GOST R IEC 62220-1-06, there is an opportunity to estimate the general characteristic of image quality in digital X-ray detectors-detective quantum efficiency (DQE). DQE is a function of spatial frequency in the radiation dose detector plane. The function should be measured using standard monitoring systems and methods . In our opinion, not only DQE(u, v) and modulation transfer function (MTF) dependence, but also the effect of system design on DQE(u, v) and MTF are of substantial interest of digital X-ray equipment developers. The effect of the computational procedure should also be taken into consideration. The goal of this work was to study factors affecting the results of estimation of the detective quantum efficiency of digital X-ray detectors within high and low spatial frequency ranges.
