摘要

Corrolazine macrocycle in soluble P-v complex of N-methylated 2-pyridyl substituted derivative [(Me+Py)(8)CAP(OH)(2)] can be reduced reversibly by dithionite affording consecutively anion-radical [Me+Py)(8)CAP(OH)(2)](center dot-) and pi-dianion [(Me+Py)(8)CAP(OH)(2)](2-). Treatment of [(Me+Py)(8)CAP(OH)(2)] with super-reduced cobalamin [Cbl(I)] leads directly to pi-dianion, which can reduce aquacobalamin [(H2O)Cbl(III)]. The central dihydroxophosphonate moiety in [(Me+Py)(8)CAP(OH)(2)] undergoes two-stage acid ionization in basic medium.
