As for polyester staple, each producer has been in the process of increasing prices since the start of 2008. The demand for insulation to be used inside futon has weakened. The demand for spun yarn is stable at lower levels. However, there is a strong possibility that the number of spinning spindles will decrease in the future and there is the possibility that the demand will further fall. The demand for nonwovens shows a rising tendency.
