Lenzing Fibers achieved record high sales in 2005 despite a difficult environment including high raw material and energy costs,and expects further growth this year supported by a positive global economic outlook and vigorous textile demand in Asia,as well as cost optimization efforts.Their activities in Asia have also increased to a significant level.A new plant in Nanjing,China is currently under construction,and a first step into India will soon be taken by the opening of a new office in Mumbai,India.
