Firet Half GDP Up 7.4%

Despite advancing prices of imported fuel and raw material prices resulting form fluctuations in the global market,the nation's economy in the first half has grown favorably.According to the General Statistics Office,the gross domestic product (GDP)for the first half jumped 7.4% from the year-ago level.Of this total,the contribution ratio is as follows:agriculture,forestry and fisheries,30%;industry and construction,9.3%;and services,7.7%.The weight of agriculture,forestry and fisheries in GDP fell from 21.42% in the first half of the preceding year to 20.71%.Industry and construction rose from 40.25% to 40.53% and services moved un from 38% to 38.76%.
