Polyester staple fiber for the mainstay nonwovens application has shown a firm movement for automotive interior goods,for example.Consequently,the supply-demand situation has relatively tightened.According to the Japan Chemical Fibers Association,stocks of polyester staple fiber (PSF) in December 2005 recorded a dip from the year-ago level for 11 consecutive months.The stock-sales ratio also was down to slightly more than 1.2 months at the end of 2005.
