Denim Exports Fall

An influential exporter in Pakistan told a local newspaper that its denim exports for 2005 fell 7.9% from the preceding year.This exporter criticized the lack of policy on the part of the Pakistani government by saying,"Both the Chinese and Indian governments provide power consumption incentives,for example,for the first three years after the equipment investment,but there is no such system in Pakistan."
