Textile Exports Up 6% in 2004

Taiwanese exports of textiles,apparel and apparel accessories amounted to US12,540 million in 2004,which is about US690 million higher than the US11,850 million in 2003.In volume,exports declined by 2% to 3,731,200 million tons.However,the share of textiles in the total export value (US174.0 billion,up 20% from the previous year) decreased to 7.2%.
