Changes in Sensitometric Parameters of Medical X-Ray Films, Part 2: Evaluation Using Manual Processing

Results of evaluation of X-ray sensitometric parameters of the most common medical X-ray films upon manual processing are discussed. Analysis and appreciation of changes in the film parameters that have occurred in recent years are given. In the first part of this work [1] we compared X-ray sensitometric parameters of old and new series of X-ray films in case of automatic processing. The silver content in these films was also analyzed. A number of changes in X-ray films were noted recently. More complete information about these changes can be obtained using tests based on manual processing.
