Influenced by several negative factors including the government's decision to reduce export-related rebates,a marked increase in raw textile material prices and increasing competitiveness of neighboring Southeast Asian nations,as well as more protectionism policies among Western nations against Chinese export-oriented apparel manufacturers,apparel exports from Guangdong Province (south China),the country's largest apparel exporter,failed to continue keeping a sharp growth between January and February of this year.
