Eclat Textile Co.,Ltd.,the largest circular knitter in Taiwan,plans to set up a knitting factory in Thailand by investing USUS4 million.The project will start at the beginning of 2004,and operate in the latter half of the year.The first stage of this project is to construct a factory with a capacity of 500,000 units monthly by investing USUS2.5 million.1,200 workers are to be employed.The second stage will make it possible to produce 850,000 units per month with 2,400 workers.Most of the products are knitted sportswear.
