This letter presents a compact wideband slot antenna for Wi-Fi 6E application. It evolved from the full wave bow-tie slot antenna, and four short slits are loaded on the metal plate with conjugate reactance to improve impedance matching at the extended 6 GHz band. The dimension of the proposed antenna is 39 × 39 mm, which is 0.32 × 0.32 λ at 2.45 GHz. The antenna has omnidirectional radiation at 2.45 GHz band, and it remains quasiomnidirectional radiation at 5 and 6 GHz bands with vertically polarized radiation. The prototype antenna is fabricated and measured for verification. The result shows that the wide bandwidth for return loss (RL) better than 10 dB is 104 from 2.35 to 7.44 GHz, and the radiation efficiencies are nearly 80 at the triple bands.
