Visits to convenience stores for food service items such asdrinks and prepared foods rose 2% in the three months endingNovember, compared to the same 2021 period, and consumerspending on food service menu items rose 8% during thesame time frame, the NPD Group reported Thursday.The breakfast and morning snack periods, representingabout 1 in 4 four food service visits to c-stores, grew trafficby 3% and were a key contributor to total visit growth in themost recent quarter ending November.
