To ray's Asia & Global Strategies 'AE Project' Being Promoted at Rapidly Accelerating Rate

Toray Industries, Inc. started the "AP-Growth TORAY2020" long-term corporate vision and "Project AP-G2013" medium-term management program in 2011. By expanding global business, the Toray Group is aiming at achieving sales of 3 trillion yen around 2020. This vision includes the "AE Project" for expanding business in Asia and merging economies, which is to achieve sales of 1.5 trillion yen. An expansion of the Group's scale is being promoted by virtue of seizing the growth of Asia and emerging countries. Currently, group companies in various parts of Asia are rapidly promoting an expansion of business based on the "AE Project".
