Professional development:Silviculture tops agenda at joint meeting of N.S. forestry groups

In what has become a much anticipated social event, as well as an opportunity to get up to date on industry-related social, scientific, and policy issues, the Forest Professionals of Nova Scotia AGM was held again this year in the midst of mud season,running March 20 and 21 in Truro. The gathering achieves strong attendance, and therefore a certain economy of scale, as a joint meeting for three groups: the Nova Scotia Forest Technicians Association, the Registered Professional Foresters Associationof Nova Scotia, and the Canadian Institute of Forestry-Nova Scotia Section.
