For anyone who missed it, Oct. 20, 2012, was the third consecutive year we held a pasture and forage research field day in Nappan, Nova Scotia. Although attendance was down from last year, some very keen farmers from across the Maritime provinces werein attendance. There were two topics for the day: high-quality stored forages, and pasture research updates. A great beef dinner was served by Cumberland County 4-H, followed by a pasture tour in the afternoon.
