Since I wrote my article about the larger greenhouse pests, (BCSS Oxford Branch, Gxotica, Dec 2021), I have been afflicted by further depredations of creatures that abound here in urban Cowley. Recently a fox entered my working greenhouse, knocked over all my poisons and fertilisers, and took a packet of bone meal into the garden, There it ripped up the packaging and ate the contents. Not satisfied with that, it displayed its contempt in solid form on my back doorstep.
