Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation is reorganizing its business in purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and poly tetramethylene ether glycol (PTMG). As part of the structural reform of its petrochemical business that was promoted in the previous medium-term management plan, the company will transfer equity interests that consolidated subsidiary Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MMC) holds in MMC subsidiaries MMC PTA India Corp. Pvt. Ltd. (MCPI) and Ningbo Mitsubishi Chemical Co., Ltd. (NMC), which engage in PTA business, and MMC Advanced Polymers Ningbo Co., Ltd. (MAP), which engages in PTMG business.
