Thai Yamaki New Export Markets Being Developed

Thai Yamaki Co., Ltd., the Thai subsidiary of Yamaki Co., Ltd. (a manufacturer of dress shirts and casual shirts), is strengthening exports again, backed by the weakening Thai currency during the last three months. Changing from a policy of developing the domestic Thai market, the company intends to reverse the sales ratio during the current fiscal year, which was about 60% domestic sales and 40% exports during the previous fiscal year ending this August. In addition to exports to Australia and the Middle East by way of India, endeavors will be made to newly develop the Indian market.
