Murata 'QPRO' Realizes Significant Reduction in Spun Yarn Production Costs

Murata Machinery, Ltd. released its "Process Coner II QPRO" automatic winder in February 2012, and commenced mass production of this new model in April of the same year. The company already shipped a total of approximately 850 machines (ab. 40,000 drums) in little over a year up to May this year to 18 countries including India, Pakistan, Turkey and Indonesia. As orders for "QPRO" are favorable, the company's average monthly production of winders including the former "No. 21C" model is expected to be about twice as great as usual during July-December 2013. (Ordering for the "No. 21C" has already been stopped, but production will continue to December this year.)
