Finishing of Woven and Knitted Fabrics With Elastane Fibers

The wear comfort of underwear, outer clothing, leisurewear and sportswear desired by the consumer is leading to an increased use of woven and knitted fabrics with elastane fibers. The finishing of these articles requires a special range configuration in order to achieve the demanded fabric properties. A stender range is discussed here whose design and configuration establish the technological, ecological and economic preconditions for achieving the demanded fabric properties.
