Investments Double in Textile Sector

The Reserve Bank of India estimates that capital investments in the textile sector doubled to Rs 74,580 million(US1,630 million)in 2004/05(April-March)from the previous fiscal year.Capital investments are expected to further increase to Rs 88,340 million in 2005-06.
