ENI aims to find 2.2 billion barrels of hydrocarbon resources over the next four years, building on what chief executive Claudio Descalzi said was an "outstanding" 2022. The Rome-headquartered player has been one of the standout explorers over the past decade, making major new discoveries in Africa, Europe, Central America, the Middle East and Asia and then fast-tracking development of these finds.
