South Africa's manganese ore market was little changed in the latest week on limited demand from India and China, while deal prices for Indian ferroalloys softened. South Africa's price of 37 Mn content ore at $2.75/dmtu FOB Port?Elizabeth this week compared with $2.74/dmtu a week ago, market sources said. On a delivered basis, the price edged up to $3.55/dmtu CIF Tianjin, compared to $3.54/dmtu last week. Meanwhile, silico-manganese (SiMn) deal prices in India's domestic market eased during the week, tracking weaker steel demand, according totrade sources. ? "Several producers raised their output and this resulted in a softness in prices to the extent of INR1,500-2,000 ($12.02-18.03)/t in the last sevendays," a producer said.
