摘要

The possibility of using high-coercivity rare-earth permanent magnets having different widths in a standard magnetic coupling is considered. It is shown that the selected width (20 mm) of a permanent magnet for standard magnetic couplings is included in the list of sizes of magnet widths given in the technical specifications for high-coercivity permanent magnets manufactured by profile enterprises. Both the misalignment angle of the half-couplings of standard couplings at a given size of the magnet width and the loss of the permanent magnet material during the grinding operation are minimal. Thus, in standard magnetic couplings, it is not advisable to replace such magnets of 20 mm width with other magnets having different widths.
