Pulling back solutions for an overcapacity crisis

In recent years, with the rapid economic development, China's flat glass industry achieves great progress and realizes great increase in its capacity, with ever optimizing industrial structure, and achieves efficient result in energy conservation and emission reduction with ever enlarging international market. China gains a considerable progress in scale of single float glass line, labor productivity, investment on line construction and, varieties and quality of float glass and enhancing its international influence. Until the end of 2013, there are 89 float glass enterprises, with 300 production lines and annual capacity of 1.25 billion cases in total, occupying over 55°/o of the total quantity of the world.
