Vietnam's glass processing markets have been heading towards a rebound with the country's higher GDP growth of over six percent, as estimated this year. The economic expansion has started to stimulate the slow-moving housing and construction sector, which is the driver of the building glass industry. In a latest move, after a slump in the past couple of years, a major glass processing industry, Sado Group, made its debut in mid-2014 to substitute imports with manufacture of the country's premium quality processed glass at Bien Hoa city, in Vietnam's southern Dong Nai province, about 20 miles from Ho Chi Minh City.
