Which is better? Performance Test of FDT/DTM and eEDDL

For end users to profit from the increasingly powerful functions included in the intelligent (i.e. digital) devices, these devices must be integrated into distributed control or asset management systems. Currently, two technologies are available for doing so: DD (Device Descriptions) and its enhanced form eEDDL (enhanced Electronic Device Description Language), and FDT (Field Device Tool).
