Kochi terminal to start even as pipeline stalls

Indian state-owned LNG importer and terminal operator Petronet will finally open its 5mn t/yr Kochi LNG facility in mid-August. This is despite a delay in building a pipeline to customers and plans to renegotiate a long-term purchase contract signed with Australia’s Gorgon project, which may affect supplies to the facility.
