APLNG train on track for start-up

The second liquefaction train at the 9mn t/yr Australia Pacifc LNG (APLNG) plant in Gladstone, Queensland, remains on track to export its frst cargo in the fourth quarter, downstream operator US independent ConocoPhillips says. APLNG will comprise two trains, each with capacity of 4.5mn t/yr, equivalent to about 600mn ft3/d (6.2bn m~3/yr) of gas. The frst train was commissioned in December last year and exported 27 cargoes in the frst half of 2016, ConocoPhil- lips executive vice-president of production and drilling Al Hirshberg says.
